Start with a real booking decision

Imagine a couple planning a trip. One wants an introductory dive; the other is already certified. They need a destination, a suitable operator, compatible dates and a clear idea of what happens next. A photo gallery helps them imagine the trip, but it does not settle those decisions.

Separate the four ways people find you

An ordinary Google result, a Maps profile, a paid search ad and an AI answer are different entry points. A visitor may encounter several before contacting you. Label them separately when reviewing performance. Do not assume the last click tells the complete story.

Give the visitor the right landing page

An introductory diver needs a different explanation from someone choosing a liveaboard itinerary. Start with the offers you actually sell. Put prerequisites, languages, inclusions, location and the enquiry step together. A page should reduce a guest's uncertainty, not simply repeat a keyword.

Test the handoff on a phone

Open the page on a normal phone. Can you find the relevant offer, understand the requirements and reach the form without hunting? Check who receives the enquiry and how your team responds. A beautiful button is not enough if the message never arrives.

Choose the smallest useful next improvement

If people do not reach the site, investigate relevant visibility. If they reach it but do not understand the offer, improve the page. If enquiries arrive but bookings do not, inspect suitability, response and availability. Each problem needs a different first step.

Measure a business outcome, not a comforting number

Keep visits, form interactions, received messages, qualified enquiries and confirmed bookings separate. Record what can actually be verified. A simple enquiry register can be more useful than a dashboard that counts every button click as a sale.

A 20-minute first review

  • Pick one real course or trip you want to sell.
  • Write the guest question it should answer.
  • Follow the route from search or profile to the relevant page.
  • Check the offer details and the next action on mobile.
  • Identify the person responsible for receiving and answering enquiries.
  • Choose one improvement and record the starting point.

Start with one offer and one complete enquiry journey. You can expand once the route works.
